The National Science Foundation is funding a study using a climate model and a social behavior model to predict when future wars will occur.
Seeing as how we can't predict the weather two weeks into the future and we can hardly predict what an insane person will do (WWI prompted by the shooting of Archduke Ferdinand; September 11 leading to the the Afghan War), it is ludicrous to think we can predict wars decades into the future.
Remember, it is our tax dollars the National Science Foundation is spending. A study of climate change and war? What is it good for?!
