Turns out there is much more to this story which calls the "warming" earth temperatures into question. So, I have bumped it from its original posting date.
The numerals inside the white boxes are supposedly water temperatures of northern Lake Michigan °F (original here). A lake temperature of 325.5°F with others over 200°!
Someone should talk with the folks at Michigan State University about the boiling point of water.
What is your point? That scientists are too stupid to notice that some data might need to be discarded because a measurement instrument or reporting system is obviously defective?
