Happy Birthday, Mom

We don't usually recognize routine birthdays and family occasions on this blog, but I want to make an exception to wish my Mom a happy birthday. I won't tell you how old she is except to mention she was born in 1930.

We had a surprise family party -- all 30 of us -- for her Saturday. She has been a wonderful wife to my Dad and mother to five children, all of whom have grown up happy, productive adults who each have their own long-term marriages. Quite a gift to the world.

So, happy birthday, Mom! And, heres to many more!!
