Remember all of the forecasts of doom after Hurricane Katrina? We were going to have more and more and stronger and stronger hurricanes. Hasn't happened.
Roger Pielke, Jr. has a great piece on the lack of strong hurricanes hitting the U.S. the last five years. He jokingly blames our good fortune (and that is what it is) on climate change.
