This is the AccuWeather radar at 6:30pm CST, purple = freezing rain, blue = snow

Purple = ice storm warning; pink = winter storm warning

There are numerous cancellations throughout Alabama and flights are being cancelled at Birmingham. Roads are closed in several areas due to icing.

Waivers have been issued for Atlanta due to the storm, meaning you can change your travel plans without penalty if you are scheduled to fly through Atlanta tomorrow.
