7:30am Wednesday Winter Storm Update

The snow has ended in the High Plains. Here in Wichita the snow should end by around 10:00am. Drifting snow is reported in much of Kansas.

Wichita has 8-9 inches. It is
still snowing lightly. 

Oklahoma City and Tulsa have been hard hit. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is strongly discouraging travel.

In Dallas, it is a slip-sliding rush hour. Schools are closed.

Heavy snow is now occurring in northwest Arkansas including Fayetteville and Bentonville. Winter precipitation is beginning in Little Rock.
