Blizzard Behind-The-Scenes

When businesses, by the thousands, were letting employees go home or stay home and schools were being cancelled meteorologists were going to or, more often, staying at work to get the lifesaving blizzard, ice storm, and tornado warnings out from January 31 to February 2, 2011.

I want to again salute the meteorologists at WeatherData, AccuWeather, the National Weather Service, and the media that worked tirelessly to keep everyone informed and safe during the recent rash of winter storms!

  1. I want to thank all the forecasters for their work not only during this storm but the rest of the time too.
