Car-Train Collision Due to Snow

KAKE TV photo
On her way to work, a Wichita woman got her car stuck in the snow on a crossing. While trying to free her car, she called a relative and asked for advice. Minutes later, a train struck the car, killing the woman.

If you should ever be stuck on a crossing, you should immediately exit the car and not return. Then, call 9-1-1. They have the phone numbers of the railroads' service interruption desks which will stop the trains in the area.
