Contest Ends Tuesday Evening. There is Still Time to Enter!

Warnings: The True Story of How Science Tamed the Weather has its own Facebook page.

Email a photo of you with a copy of “Warnings: The True Story of How Science Tamed the Weather" or post it directly on the Facebook page.

I’ll keep track of the time of receipt of every photo of you with Warnings.  I’ll assign a number to each photo (first one received is #1, second is #2, etc.) until 6pm CST, March 8, 2011. I’ll then use an internet random number generator to chose three prize winners.

The prizes:
  • a quality rain gauge (same one I use, see below)
  • art-quality 8x10” weather photo  (see here for samples)
  • an autographed copy of Warnings
Win a rain gauge!
The first number generated will be the “grand prize” winner and can choose which of the three prizes he or she would like.  The second person can choose between the remaining two and the third will get the remaining prize.

One entry per person. There is no cost to enter. No purchase required. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winners.  We’ll contact the winners view Facebook mail or through email, depending on the method the photo was sent. By entering you give Mike Smith Enterprises, LLC, an unlimited non-exclusive license to use the photo and your name for the purpose of promoting “Warnings.” And, the lawyers would want me to say, “Void where prohibited by law.”

Good luck!!
