AccuWeather's Joe Bastardi, our chief long range forecaster, believes the Arctic outbreak now in progress east of the Rockies will be the last for a while.
The Pacific coast states, which have been dry since December, are now in line for rain and snow, especially next week, as humidity-laded air comes in from the ocean ("Pacific Influence" on the map).
I have my fingers crossed that Joe is correct!
