Tornadic Thunderstorms Race Across Western Tennessee
UPDATE 9:11pm, about 100,000 people are without power in metro Memphis. Power lines are down in a number of areas and a fire station was damaged.

A "bow echo" (indicated by arrows) has moved across the Memphis area. Doppler radar has measured winds of more than 70 mph in spots and tornado warnings are out because this type of echo can spin up tornadoes quickly.
