The storm total snow forecast through Thursday morning at 6am calls for more than a foot of snow along Interstate 70 in western Kansas. Travel may also become difficult along I-80 in Nebraska and Interstates 29 and 35 in Iowa.

As if the snow isn't enough, there is a tornado threat starting tomorrow afternoon continuing through the pre-dawn hours Wednesday. AccuWeather has more on this aspect of the storm.

Because of the extraordinarily dry conditions of the last six months, wildfire weather warnings are out in the southern High Plains and southern Rockies region today and tomorrow.
