A tornado forms right in front of a couple and they have a spirited discussion as to whether to stay in the car or get in the ditch on the side of the road. I was asked that question (car v. ditch) at the Cosmosphere (see below) last week. My vote? Get in the ditch.

By the way, the strong winds they experienced were from the thunderstorm's "rear flank downdraft," not the tornado itself.
