Super-Jumbo Hit by Lightning


The giant aircraft (Airbus A380) was struck on approach to London. Airplanes are designed to withstand lightning strikes and there were no problems.

  1. One of the few things the government does..... half ass decent.... is testing. Sandia labs had a test plane for the avionics to see what it would take to withstand lightening strikes and keep the plane airborne.
