Oddest Headline of the Week


As the author of a book about great advances made in storm warnings, in part by NOAA, not sure why our President would be "blaming" Nixon for it.

  1. I agree it's an odd headline, since it doesn't agree with the article. Obama pointed out that Nixon put NOAA in Commerce and not in Interior.

  2. As far as I'm concerned, NOAA or NWS ought to be out from under these larger agencies. I don't think being part of NOAA or, ESSA (for us old timers) has done much for the NWS.
