Bow Echo along Minnesota-Iowa Border
The red and purple represent a "bow echo" so named for its resemblance to an archer's bow. It typically causes strong and often damaging winds. There is likely hail with this one, as well.
A new severe thunderstorm watch has been issued ahead of the bow.
