Some Drought Relief in the High Plains

While moisture conditions for the 2012 winter wheat crop are quite good, pastures in the High Plains have continued with drought conditions. That should improve over the next five days with heavy rains in west Texas and moderate rains throughout the western and southern High Plains.

The rainfall has already begun as indicated by AccuWeather regional radar.
