We had a spectacular thunderstorm in west Wichita yesterday evening and I'd like to show it to you from another angle, courtesy of Jeff Hutton of the National Weather Service in Dodge City.
From my back yard this is the storm at roughly the same time. I'm looking west northwest. You can see it is leaning to the north (right).
Later, it had developed into a full thunderstorm with the classic anvil shape as indicated in Jeff's photo.
