Severe Thunderstorms in Missouri

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Missouri and Illinois for the possibility of large hail and damaging winds with the latter the greater threat.

Currently (2:02pm), radar shows a severe thunderstorm west of Springfield (yellow polygon). These storms will likely intensify during the afternoon.
