Meanwhile, There is a Storm Looming

I hate to intrude on the election celebrations/dispair but there is a storm brewing for the area hard-hit by Hurricane Sandy. Courtesy of Greg Carbin, this is the ensemble forecast for snow for the Newark Airport starting midday tomorrow:

What you are seeing is forecasts of (most likely) 3 to 6 inches around the NYC area with wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range. Wind chills will be in the low 20s. The heavier snows are likely to be more inland. Regardless, this will bring more misery to the area.

There will be more coastal flooding.

Please make sure any friends in the region know this is coming.
