Biggest National Weather Festival Ever

This photo represents the "calm before the storm" -- the final minutes of set-up before this year's National Weather Festival opened.

Once it opened, wow! Five thousand attended, the biggest yet. I spoke with people from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Georgia. The place was so packed, it was difficult to get good pictures!
Some say this is my best angle!
We sold literally dozens of copies of Warnings

You don't see signs like this just anywhere!
I also appreciated those who took time out from all of the festivities to attend my talk on the future of the tornado warning system. The presentation ran ten minutes over the allotted time because of all of the questions. Mindy and I were worn out by the time we got to back to Wichita Saturday evening.
Mobile weather radar.
Thanks to everyone who visited Saturday!
